BKW developed a sphere hook for loading and unloading pipeline spheres. The hook will slide under a sphere and can be lifted with a jib crane.  Loading stands are available for unloading a sphere from a truck and pushing the sphere into the launcher magazine.  The sphere hook can be furnished collapsible for easier storage. 

Other pig and sphere handling equipment include:
